India lost three quick wickets in the first session but stretched their lead past 250 thanks to another Laxman gem. The stylish Laxman was unlucky to be last out for 96 as the Indian innings came to an end shortly after the lunch break on a Kingsmead track which seemed to have eased out considerably.
