Rajkot : Saurasthra University’s board and Syndicate members will soon come across to decide whether to take up again the services of registrar Gagendra Jani, whose appointment to the placement has been marred by controversy.
It is learnt with the intention of a group formed by the Governor, who is furthermore the university chancellor, has seemingly validated allegations with the intention of Jani was appointed despite being disallowed pro the placement.
The investigation group comprising retired Gujarat High Court mediate L A Pathan, ex- state bonus desk J D Mahida and UGC under desk Narayan Singh has submitted its crash to Governor Kamla Beniwal, who forwarded it to SU Vice-Chancellor Kamlesh Joshipura.
