MOIL IPO subscription is successful on the second day. The bids received by the issue are for 3.7 lakh equity shares against 336 lakh shares of the size of issue. The NSE data was made available around 12pm.

The subscription rate so far is of 1.1 times. The qualified investor’s portion was subscribed completely while the non investor shares were subscribed up till 0.88 percent and the retail investor ones had the subscription of 0.36 times. The raised amount is estimated to stand around Rs 1142.40-1260 crore with the price slab set as 340-375 per share.

In place of the final price the investors of retail and the MOIL employees will get a 5 percent discount on the offer price. The closing through the issue of bidders at the qualified institutional level will be done on the 30th of November while that of other investing parties will be done on the 1st of December.

The inevitable has happened. Rebellious Congress MP from Kadapa Y S Jaganmohan Reddy on Monday resigned from his MP seat, expressing anguish over the Congress high command’s attempt to isolate him and split his family.

Jagan is learnt to have faxed his letter to Lok Sabha Speaker and also party president Sonia Gandhi. His mother Y S Vijayalakshmi, who represents Pulivendula assembly constituency in Kadapa, is also believed to have resigned from her assembly membership. The decision was taken in the wake of reports from New Delhi that the AICC disciplinary committee headed by A K Antony is going to meet in the evening to take action against Jaganmohan Reddy. The young MP expressed anguish over the way the high command successfully alienated his uncle Y S Vivekananda Reddy from Y S Rajasekhara Reddy family by offering him a berth in the Kiran Kumar Reddy cabinet. Besides, he also felt upset with the high command inviting Praja Rajyam Party to join the cabinet. He told his followers that the developments clearly indicated that the high command is planning to kick him out. So, it is better to resign than being shunted out, say sources close to Jagan.

Member of Parliament from Kadapa YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has resigned from the Congress Party. Jagan along with his mother YS Vijayamma has submitted their resignations today. This is the first step fired by Jagan Mohan Reddy who is on his way to launch his own party. Jagan Mohan Reddy resigned as the Member of Parliament, while Vijayamma resigned as Congress MLA from Pulivendula Assembly seat. He faxed his resignation letter to the Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar which has been accepted by the Speaker. The Andhra Pradesh Assembly Deputy Speaker Manohar Reddy has confirmed having received the resignation letter of YS Vijayamma. Unofficial reports say that Jagan has the backing of at least 5 MPs.

B.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, Congress MP of Kadapa and son of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Rajashekhar Reddy, has finally resigned from his MP position. Along with Jagan, his mother Vijayalakshmi also resigned from the Andhra Pradesh Assembly

The much-expected move on the part of Jagan comes after appointment of Kiran Kumar Reddy as Andhra Pradesh’s new CM by the Congress Party. However, Jagan has asked his supporting MLAs not to resign from their Assembly seats.

Jagan has sent his four-page resignation letter to the party president Sonia Gandhi. In his letter, Jagan has claimed that there was politics against him in his own party.
