Hasmukh Gandhi, Gujarati journalist
The doyen of Gujarati television journalism, Hasmukh Gandhi, died on Jan. 27. He was 66, and is survived by his wife and daughter.Widely considered as the man who breathed fresh life into Gujarati television journalism, which is even now largely archaic in stylishness as well as content, Gandhi’s career was manifest by innovation, creativity and rebellion.
